From January to April, the export of Western medicine preparations was usd 2.24 billion, up 25.8% year-on-year, the export volume increased 4.2%year-on-year, and the average export price increased 20.7% year-on-year. Among them, the export volume of hormone preparations increased by 103.8%, mainly driven by the significant growth of insulin preparations. The export volume of penicillin preparations increased by 25% year on year, cephalosporins remained flat year on year, other Western medicines increased by 9.1% year on year, and the export volume of biochemical drugs increased by 38.4% year on year, and the average export price decreased by 44.6% year on year This was mainly caused by a sharp drop in the export of human vaccines, which dropped by 72.8% from January to April this year.
